Beach park, surf site, Hāna, Maui. Small calcareous sand beach on the south side of Ka Iwi o Pele, a cinder cone of the Hāna Volcanic Series. The beach park was developed during the late 1960s as a community service project by Hāna Post 3860 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and their women's auxiliary. The surf site is a shorebreak on a sandbar.
