Poʻipū Beach Park is the most popular beach park on the island's south shore. Nukumoi Point in the beach park is an example of a tombolo, a sandbar that joins two islands. The snorkeling site is off the west end of the beach park, and the windsurf site is off the west end of the beach near the Sheraton.
